Impalement Chamber from "Kingdom of Noise"

Here is the bare bones of the flythrough of the set, the impalement chamber, from another story I've written and have had shelved in the cobwebs of development for a while.  I'm hoping that dusting off some of these old projects and re-vamping them will stir something in me to pick them up again and carry them a little further before setting them back down this time.

Regardless, Kingdom of Noise is a supernatural thriller based on a town that exists in the realm of limbo, the residents are those that have not fully come to terms that they have died, or have died under wrongful circumstances.  This is one of my more favorite stories because I took the simple pretense of the ferryman of the river Styx and had my way with it.  The impalement chamber serves as the morgue and sacrificial alter of the "preacherman" that stores caracasses on the spiked columns.
